Evening Edition: Biden Proposal Impacts Various Sectors Of Real Estate
President Biden's proposal to increase the capital gains tax is inherently aimed at taxing the wealthy but it does also have a major impact on property sales of the middle-class. Real estate experts fear eliminating the 1031 tax deduction will severely hurt those selling residential properties, including single-family rental homes, apartment buildings and condominium units. FOX's Trey Yingst speaks with Al Lord, the founder of Lexerd Capital Management, who says he worries the proposed change will damage multiple facets of the real estate industry.

Top security officials from Israel met with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and others today in D.C. to discuss growing threats from Iran and their proxies. The meeting focused on Iran's development of drones and missiles that they provide to their proxies in the region. It also provided Israel with an update on the Iran nuclear talks which continue again in Vienna this week. President Biden becomes the first president to officially recognize the killing of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire during World War I as an act of genocide. Evening Edition: World Sends Aid To India To Counter Deadly COVID-19 Surge
The United States and other countries are sending desperately needed medical supplies to India which is being ravaged by a harsh resurgence of COVID-19. India is reporting nearly three hundred and fifty thousand new cases since the weekend, three thousand deaths in that time and a major shortage in oxygen tanks. Also, Alexei Navalny is said to be in better health but a Russian court has labeled his opposition network a 'terrorist group'. Evening Edition: Top General Concerned With Withdrawal From Afghanistan
General Kenneth McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, said yesterday that Afghan security forces will have a tough time holding back the Taliban following a full withdrawal of U-S forces. The concerns the General expressed before the Senate Armed Services Committee Thursday ranged from the lack of U.S. air support the Afghan Security Forces would get, to the basic maintenance of those aircrafts, which is done largely by American contractors. FOX's Trey Yingst speaks with FOX News Pentagon Correspondent Lucas Tomlinson about the concerns of some in the military and congress about the complete withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Evening Edition: The Difficulties Of A Police Reform Compromise
President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are making a push to get the 'George Floyd Justice in Policing Act' passed through the Senate. The bill includes a body camera mandate, banning of choke holds, requires data collection of violent police encounters to establish a registry and makes it easier for lawsuits to be brought against officers, among other initiatives. Republicans in opposition to the bill say their own police reform bill filibustered last year wasn't given a chance. Evening Edition: Russia's Alarming Troop Build Up At Ukraine Border
Over the past two weeks Russia has deployed troops to the Ukrainian border nearly doubling the force that they used to annex Crimea in 2014. The troop buildup is worrisome but the State Department is also concerned Russia is planning on blocking foreign naval ships and other vessel movement in the Black Sea. Russia claims the troops are conducting military drills in direct response to NATO actions.
